| JERRY KRAHN QUARTET | Nashville, Tennessee |
|
In Jerry's own words, "There is 'a thing' the archtops (his guitar) were made to do that no other guitar quite can. The locking into a swinging drummer and acoustic bassist; comping rhythm behind a cornet or clarinet; the warm vibrations of the hand-carved wood vibrating in your arms and chest; the f-holes swirling lush tones around your head." Don't fail to look and listen for this experience when you hear the quartet. |

The fiery, electrifying violinist/composer teams with some of the finest musicians in the San Francisco roots music scene to tear off the roof and raise everyone's spirits with fiery Cajun and zydeco two-steps, low-down blues, funky New Orleans grooves, and heartbreakingly beautiful ballads and waltzes. Mostly composed by Rigney, the band also plays classics from the Cajun/zydeco/New Orleans songbook.
